Being Respect, or Likings?
最近看了一本Business 書, 就是Carolyn 101. (節目The Apprentice, Donald Trump’s Left hand woman. ) --- BTW, thanks to Kay’s Sweetheart Mr. Leung, who bought me this from U.S.
Do I charm by this woman’s position? Yes.
Do I fancy her appearance, dressing style? Yes.
Do I agree all of her views on business, especially on “Dealing with good/bad workmates”? No.
Choose one: Being Respect or Likings by your team mates.
I still cannot make that decision for sure. Carolyn chooses “Being Respect”. What a affirmative decision!
I would choose an equilibrium point. However, deep inside my heart, I know I cannot manage this to happen.
I thought of being the “likings” at the moment I stepped on the present hospital. It’s easy, but somehow I cannot blind myself, work like them. There have been disputes with my previous senior, who was then fired by my current new manager.
Then I found a period of peace.
Later then, being old enough to have middle-age-belly, I discovered being “Likings” in the workplace is not that Good.
Likings actually create “parties”. One opposes another. One who got the most “Liking votes” can exercise certain conveniences. --- Who are the boss’s favor ones?
Being respect is nice, but you cannot play heartily with your teammates. There always be a gradient.
For sure, today I am not the Likings in the workplace. As my seniority levels, I hope I can get more Respects. Unlike my early twenties days, keen on combining personal interests with working lives; I am now separating them.
I don’t want people named “Colleagues” to set any foot on my datings, friends, and families anymore. This year I discovered too much on human natures.
“It’s nothing personal, it’s only business.”

I am super addicted to the show! I dont know if you know who is Martha Stewart, she is a "domestic goddess", makes everything looks elegant and nice and she is one smart business woman too, despite the fact that she went to jail for stock tradinng faud, she is even more popular after she came out from the jail. Anyways, Martha Stewart is having her version of "The Apprentice". Honestly, I really think The Apprentice is quite "educational", I admit that I did learn a bit about marketing and business from the contestants' mistakes, I hope the shows never end.
I have been downloading both shows (coz I dont have time to watch them at night, isn't that sad?), this coming x'mas I am gonna spend some sweet time watching the entire season of both shows, keekee.
